Term 1
I thought that it would be easy to scrape through science just like it was in primary school, but there were many new topics introduced and I had gotten quite bad results due to my over-confidence and not revising enough on the new topics taught.
Term 2
I still haven't improved on my attitude towards science and continued to slack off, the topics were still relatively new to me as I haven't been doing the amount of reading that I should be doing recently, I still did not realise my mistake and continued to not study for science, and again, how much effort I put in had been shown through my results.
Term 3
I have realised that I do not understand most of the topics that have been taught and are going to be tested for EOYs I started to read up a lot on science and try to catch up on all the topics that I do not understand as soon as possible. It will be difficult for me to catch up with the class as I am really lagging far behind them in terms of science academic achievements, I hope that I can catch up with the class standard hopefully before EOYs , if not I am going to have a hard time.
Term 4
It is now approximately 1 month away from EOYs, my reading has helped my catch up with the earlier topics, but, it has also made me neglect the current topics , heat transfer, respiration and digestion. I hope that the remedial sessions that I will be having with Mr Low will help me to improve, or at least clarify some of the misunderstandings or questions that I have pertaining to the many concepts that I have been taught of which I still do not understand some. I hope that by EOYs , I will be able to get at least a B3/B4 and/or get higher than the class average for science.
